My daughter and I arrived at The Brass Tap on a Sunday before a show at the Lyric. We knew in advance that we would have lunch at the Brass Tap prior to the show because of it's close proximity; and more importantly, they have the impossible burger on the menu, which is not easy to find. We got there at 12:45 and brunch was still going on. The brunch menu looked so good, but I had my heart set on the burger. We had to wait for a few minutes for the lunch menu to start so we ordered drinks. My daughter got the margherita flight, which she loved. I got a coconut/lime drink that was very good too. Another unusual thing about this restaurant is they serve tater tots. You can get fries but who wants fries when you can have TATER TOTS?? They were soooo good. Our impossible burgers didn't disappoint either. The best thing about this restaurant is the staff. There is no one person waiting on specific tables. It is the entire wait staff waiting on everyone. The place was super busy when we got there, mostly full of people going to the show, but they handled it like champs! Our drink orders were taken by one person, our food orders by someone else, plates and glasses were taken away the minute you finished. It was efficient and awesome. Everyone was super friendly, and especially Annette. She was great! They also had a jazz band there and I was concerned about how loud it was and had we been seated more toward the front, it would have been an issue. Thankfully, we were seated in the back close to the kitchen and were able to talk. All in all, if was a great time! Of course I forgot to take photos of the food, but here is me with our drinks! lol

We moved to Baltimore in December. We have a Brass Tap where we came from in Orlando, so it was like a little piece of home! This Brass Tap has a great selection of beers. They rotate them regularly and have multiple styles so it's easy to find something you like. The staff are friendly and happy to help guide you in which beer or cocktail you might like. We love Dylan and Nora who always take great care of us. The space has a large amount of seating, with bar seating, table seating, and a patio area I assume is popular during warmer temperatures. We've tried their pizza, burger, and pretzel and they are all tasty. There are a lot of events that happen here as well, like trivia, karaoke, and weekend brunch. Overall, this is a fun place to grab some drinks, food, and relax. Definitely a favorite spot of mine in town!

We flipped a (virtual) coin to either pop in the Brass Tap or a different spot after a show at the Lyric, and the Brass Tap won. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the drinks, food and staff. It was nearing close, but there were still plenty of folks in the smallish space. The beer menu is organized by genre of beer versus the absolute type of beer. I'm a sour gal, so I tried the ones on that list. There was only one true sour, but I'm ok with that. I also ordered a mixed drink because it had my favorite type of rum (Papa's Pilar). It was ok-- more of a standard fruity beverage than complex. The real star here, though, were the cauliflower bites. Completely unexpectedly, they hit it out of the park with the dry rub and the hot sauce. I'm vegetarian and make some sweet homemade cauliflower bites, so I like to taste the competition. These were actually unique and flavorful. Highly recommend. The staff were wonderful. Gabby and Trey tag teamed effectively and offered appreciated suggestions.
